How to work with "I AM" affirmations

Words have power, and when you use the words “I Am,” you are tapping into that power. The words you use after saying “I Am” hold the power to shape your reality, your experiences, and your beliefs. Working with the power of I Am in this way is often referred to as using I Am Affirmations.

One of the most effective ways to tap into the power of the words “I Am” is through the use of affirmations.

I Am affirmations are positive statements designed to tap into the power of the mind. Using them repeatedly you can gradually reprogram your subconscious belief system.

The use of affirmations is based on the principle that thoughts and beliefs shape reality, and that by changing your thoughts and beliefs, you can change the way you live your life.

 

The structure of “I am” affirmations typically involves using the phrase I am followed by a positive statement or declaration.

For example, “I Am strong”, “I Am worthy”, or “I Am resilient”.

By repeating affirmations regularly and feeling their positive energy, you  focus on positive and empowering beliefs about yourself and reality that can be transformative over time.

Daily Mindful practice

An affirmation is a statement you make about yourself (or someone else) that you affirm to be true.

An affirmation can be positive or negative, Unfortunately, we affirm a lot of negative statements about ourselves and the world we live in to be true, whether we do this consciously or not.

The practice is about being a mindful observer of your thoughts and the language you use to talk to yourself. 

Having a daily practice to support peaceful and life-affirming thoughts and emotions can turn into a powerful self-love practice.   

Using Affirmation Cards to step into your power

Affirmation cards can be a wonderful tool to make your daily practice with positive “I am” statements more enjoyable. They become part of a sacred ritual. A faithful companion  like a good friend who is always there to lift you up and remind you of where to direct your attention to. Placed on your altar they act as a focal point for reflection and meditation.

I find using affirmation cards  to work on my positive mindset enhances how I connect to the energy and the vibration of the “I am” statement.

The affirmation card engages both the right and the left side of the brain by using both image and words making it a holistic tool for self-empowerment.
